Movicon.NExT 2019 v3.4 is the latest version of this software. It offers strong alarm management capabilities and robust embedded features that can be used and configured at any time. This includes keyboard commands, touch keyboards, menus, and operators, significantly reducing development time, even for the most complex applications. The new version also introduces enhancements to the management and verification of financial audit trail data, ensuring the security and integrity of the data browsing and archiving system. It supports verified two-way signing, allowing users to request audit annotations when using tag value commands (such as Set, Increase, Decrease, and Toggle) and checkbox-type objects.

Software Highlights

1. Scheduling

The scheduling process now allows you to define clearing times (i.e., holidays) even during operation. This enables the removal of reservation events during specific times of the year, such as religious holidays (automatic scheduling) or custom times or periods.

2. Alarm Operator

A new software has been introduced to notify "push" type events through the instant messaging service Telegram. Now, factory alarms or events can be notified not only through voice calls, emails, or SMS but also through Telegram (a free app for Android, iOS, and PC) in group chats or individual chats. To use this software, the factory must have internet access.

3. Trend Graphical Objects

In version 3.4, new graphical objects for historical trend data visualization have been introduced. The data analysis object now allows for the visualization and analysis of historical data and automatic updates, with the ability to pause and resume to display the real-time trend of connected tags. The real-time trend object is no longer connected to Historian and Datalogger; it only allows for the visualization of the real-time trend of one or more connected tags. It is fully compatible with projects developed in previous versions.

4. Speech Recognition and Voice Commands

Movicon.NExT 3.4 expands the definition of industrial touchscreens with speech recognition and voice commands. The new "Text to Speech" command allows for the synthesis of text strings into voice. This way, events or alarms can be converted into voice messages for operators. Voice commands can be used as system commands and object commands. Configurable voice system commands in project properties allow for actions such as accessing project pages or zooming in on the screen. Voice object commands allow for the association of voice commands with related object commands. For example, a button command can also be executed simultaneously with the relevant voice command given by the operator.

5. Web Client Application

The Movicon.NExT application for mobile devices has been updated to version 3.4 on the App Store, Google Play, and Microsoft Store. For iOS and Android devices, two new features have been introduced to significantly enhance usability: pre-set zoom and touch feedback. It is now possible to zoom in on project pages and receive feedback through vibration (or sound if vibration is unavailable) to notify the operator of sensitive areas being touched, such as buttons for executing commands. For Microsoft devices, two new features have been introduced to extend the application's usability through Hololens wearable devices: voice commands and clarity. It is possible to set the clarity of the page background to achieve a more immersive augmented reality experience and execute voice commands on the Movicon.NExT client desktop.

6. Enhanced Scripting Cross-References

In version 3.4, the cross-reference option has been improved by expanding resource analysis (scripts, receipts, report parameters, and alarm thresholds) and properties, enabling quick analysis of project updates.
