2BizBox Installation Manual

Installing 2BizBox is simple. For Windows users, download the installation package and follow the instructions to complete the installation. The client and server can be installed on the same device or on different devices, and then start the client to connect to the server.

How to use

Download the software compressed file document, click on the 2bizbox installation guide, first select the language and installation type, as shown below:

Accept the installation agreement

Select the 2BizBox installation components. If operating in a single machine, both need to be installed, as shown below:

Click "Next" and continue until the installation is complete. 2BizBox requires the server to be started first. Click on "Start" - "Programs" - "All Programs" - "2BizBox ERP", and then click "2BizBox ERP Server", as shown below:

Note: After the server starts, do not click the "Close" button, but minimize it.

    Click on "2BizBox Client" to start the client, which will automatically jump to the login interface, as shown below:

Usage

Start the 2BizBox server process: Double-click the "2BizBox Server" shortcut icon on the desktop, or the "2BizBox A2 Server" shortcut icon to start the 2BizBox server process. You can also enter the 2BizBox installation file, double-click the run.bat file in the server root directory to start the server and database. The server and database run in command prompt mode, and do not close during operation. The server process will generate a lot of log information. When the text stops scrolling, the server process has finished starting and can accept client logins. Usually, the server process takes about 1 to 2 minutes to start, or even longer, depending on the computer configuration and other factors.

Start the 2BizBox client process: Double-click the "2BizBox Client" shortcut icon on the desktop, or the "2BizBox A2 Client" to start the 2BizBox client process. You can also enter the 2BizBox installation file, double-click the client.exe or a2.exe file in the client root directory to start the client. In the login dialog box, enter the server, company, username, password, and other information, and click the "Login" button below to log in to the system. If logging in to a remote server, enter localhost in the server field. If logging in to another 2BizBox server, enter the server IP address. When operating 2BizBox on a remote server for the first time, you can keep all the initial values in the login dialog box and click the "Login" button to log in to the remote server directly.

Close 2BizBox: You can directly click the close program button in the upper right corner to exit the client process. Before exiting, please ensure that you have saved any ongoing work. To close the 2BizBox server process, press the Ctrl + C key combination in the command prompt, wait for the server to perform the necessary exit procedures, and finally click the button in the upper right corner of the interface to close the server process and the database process.
