WatchCat is a completely free dedicated window-hiding tool that has been developed and refined for nearly two decades. Despite its age, it maintains excellent compatibility with various Windows systems. The software supports running on mobile screensavers, one-click hiding of dialog boxes, custom folder name activation, taskbar icon hiding, and the ability to minimize or maximize hidden dialog boxes.

Once hidden, these windows become invisible on the screen and are inaccessible via the Alt+Tab switch. For added security, you can set a password to access the WatchCat menu and hidden dialog boxes.

Automatic Functions: WatchCat can automatically hide, close, or minimize dialog boxes after a period of inactivity.

How to Use WatchCat

Download and Launch: Locate "Wcat.exe" in the downloaded files and double-click to run it.

Accessing the Menu: After launching, you will find the running icon in the bottom-right corner of your screen. Right-click on it to access additional information and options.

Navigation: WatchCat provides options to run screensavers, display all windows, hide all windows, manage desktop icons, taskbar icons, set timers for operations, and access properties.

Running Operations: You can run operations directly from the desktop, including opening the computer, internet, and all control panel items.

Property Settings: In the properties panel, you can customize various features as needed.

Miscellaneous Settings: This includes making desktop icon titles transparent, setting passwords, verifying passwords, setting request timeouts, and ejecting the CD-ROM before the computer goes into standby.
