Undead pixel is a small utility designed to fix stuck pixels on LCD screens. It works by rapidly switching between red, green, and blue colors in a random sequence, which can stimulate the stuck pixel to reset.
Software Features
The "Dead pixel locator" on the left side of the interface allows users to detect stuck pixels by setting the screen to full-screen backgrounds of red, green, blue, white, and black. Users can also customize the background color to better locate certain types of stuck pixels. Clicking the "Run cycle" button enables automatic switching between these backgrounds.
The right side of the interface is dedicated to the repair function. Users can drag the flashing dot over the pixel that needs repair and let the tool work its magic. The process may take several hours, but in many cases, the results are satisfactory. However, the developer does not guarantee the success rate of the repair.
