How to Use DroidCamX

1. Download and install the DroidCam client. This will install the client, network camera, and microphone drivers on your system.
2. Ensure both your PC and mobile device are on the same Wi-Fi network. Launch the PC client and the mobile app.
3. Enter the IP address and DroidCam port number displayed in the app into the PC client and click Start/Connect.

Settings for High-Definition Mode

To switch to high-definition mode on your computer when using the virtual webcam:

1. Navigate to the DroidCam installation folder using "This PC". It is typically located at "C:\Program Files (x86)\DroidCam".
2. Locate the "Toggle HD Mode" shortcut, right-click it, and select "Run as administrator".
3. Select 720P, click OK, and your computer will restart.

On the mobile app, ensure the "FPS Boost (Experimental)" option is checked, as it is not enabled by default. Enabling this will double the FPS, resulting in a smoother experience.
